You are invited to the January live intensive of the Intellectual Property OS program.
Thursdays in January (from 1.8–1.29), we will be going through the four main milestones of IP OS . . . live 🎉.
Each Thursday, there will be a 10a ET session and a 7p ET session; they’re both the same—come to the one that works best for you.
[Hint: The Zoom links are in your dashboard.]
Milestone 1: Take Your Stance in Your Field
(a.k.a. Your Why)—live sesh is January 8.
During this session, we will work on creating or refining four internal assets that you’ll use as a guiding North Star for the work you publish this year, and beyond.
Your unique stance in your industry can be organized into:
Two or more core tenets/beliefs you hold.
A big, important, guiding question or “problem statement” that you seek to solve with your work.
Smaller questions or hypotheses that help you answer your big question.
The true pillars (categories) or pathways (transformation journeys) your work centers around.
Note: You don’t need to prepare/do anything before this Thursday’s session.
Milestone 2: Map Your Body of Work
(a.k.a. Your What)—live session is January 15.
During this session, we will map out a connected ecosystem for your work, so you don’t create 100s or 1000s of pieces that kinda just float around the web. You’ll be purposefully designing journeys for your community or clients . . . that only you can design.
Note: To prepare for this session, please go through the on-demand lessons for Milestone 1 and/or attend the live session for Milestone 1 on January 8.
Milestone 3: Reimagine Your Best Fit Clients
(a.k.a. Your Who)—live session is January 22.
During this session, we will work through several sections inside your Best Fit Client Messaging Manual.
It is organized into sections such as:
Your best fit client’s “Interest to Transformation” Journey
The Eight Marketing Gaps your community may need filled
And more
Note: To prepare for this session, please go through the on-demand lessons for Milestone 1 and/or attend the live session for Milestone 1 on January 8.
Milestone 4: Design Your Idea & IP Flow
(a.k.a. Your How)—live sesh is January 29.
During this session, we will dive into using and customizing your new idea management system (built out for you in Notion). We’ll go over how to flow from inputs to ideas to intellectual property . . . without relying on social media for your every opportunity.
Your idea management system is organized into 3 main, connected databases:
The Inputs Database—this is where you store interesting articles you’ve read, SEO keywords you want to incorporate in your work, YouTube videos you found interesting, data/statistics related to your field, other people’s work that intrigues you or makes you want to respond, and even interesting stories you might want to pull from
The Ideas Database—this is where you store your actual ideas, frameworks, and unique concepts or philosophies
The IP Database—this is where you’ll keep or document your actual published pieces
Note: To prepare for this session, please go through the on-demand lessons for Milestones 1–3 and/or come to the live sessions of the previous weeks.
